1UR-FSE FUEL: FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR: REMOVAL

1. DISCHARGE FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE

(a) Discharge fuel system pressure Service Precautions.

2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

3. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY Removal

4. REMOVE ROOM NO. 3 PARTITION PAD Removal

5. REMOVE REAR FLOOR NO. 2 SERVICE HOLE COVER Removal

6. REMOVE FUEL SUCTION TUBE ASSEMBLY WITH PUMP AND GAUGE Removal

7. REMOVE FUEL SENDER GAUGE ASSEMBLY Disassembly

8. SEPARATE FUEL SUCTION PLATE SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the fuel pump connector from the fuel suction plate.





NOTICE:
* Do not damage the wire harness.
* Do not separate the tube indicated in the illustration Service Precautions.

(b) Using needle nose pliers, remove the E-ring.





(c) Separate the fuel suction plate and remove the spring from the sub-tank.

9. REMOVE FUEL FILTER Disassembly

10. REMOVE JET PUMP Disassembly

11. REMOVE FUEL PUMP HARNESS Disassembly

12. REMOVE NO. 1 FUEL SUCTION SUPPORT Disassembly

13. REMOVE FUEL PUMP ASSEMBLY Disassembly

14. REMOVE FUEL MAIN VALVE ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the fuel main valve from the fuel filter.





(b) Remove the 2 O-rings from the fuel main valve.





15. REMOVE FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR ASSEMBLY

(a) Detach the 2 claws of the fuel filter and remove the cap.





(b) Remove the fuel pressure regulator from the fuel filter.

(c) Remove the 2 O-rings from the pressure regulator.
