Installation





SEAT BELT: FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY





(a) Install the seat belt with the nut.

Torque : 42 Nm (428 kgf-cm, 31 ft-lbf)

NOTICE:
Do not overlap the anchor part of the seat belt and protruding part of the seat adjuster.

(b) Install the seat belt's wire harness clamp.

(c) Connect the connector.

2. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY





Place the seat in the cabin.

NOTICE:
Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

(a) Connect the connectors under the seat.

(b) Connect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal.

(c) Operate the power seat switch knob and move the seat to the foremost position.

(d) Tighten the 2 bolts on the rear side of the seat.

Torque : 37 Nm (377 kgf-cm, 27 ft-lbf)

HINT
Tighten the 2 bolts in the order indicated in the illustration.

(e) Operate the power seat switch knob and move the seat to the rearmost position.

(f) Tighten the 2 bolts on the front side of the seat.

Torque : 37 Nm (377 kgf-cm, 27 ft-lbf)

HINT
Tighten the 2 bolts in the order indicated in the illustration.

(g) Operate the power seat switch knob and move the seat to the foremost position.

(h) Engage the 4 claws to install the front seat track rear inner cover and front seat track rear outer cover.

(i) Operate the power seat switch knob and move the seat to the rearmost position.

(j) Engage the 4 claws to install the 2 front seat track bracket covers.

3. CONNECT FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY





Move the seat using the power seat switch knob so that the seat belt anchor bolt is revealed.

(a) Connect the front seat outer belt anchor with the bolt.

Torque : 42 Nm (428 kgf-cm, 31 ft-lbf)

(b) Install the seat belt anchor cover cap.

4. PERFORM INITIALIZATION

(a) Perform initialization Repair Instruction - Initialization.

NOTICE:
Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
