Removal

AUDIO / VISUAL: MICROPHONE AMPLIFIER: REMOVAL

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.

2. REMOVE INNER REAR VIEW MIRROR COVER Removal

3. REMOVE FRONT ROOF TOP GARNISH Removal

4. REMOVE PERSONAL LIGHT ASSEMBLY Removal

5. REMOVE MICROPHONE AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY





(a) Remove the microphone amplifier cord from the cover labeled A.

(b) Disconnect the connector labeled B.

(c) Remove the 9 screws labeled C and cover.

(d) Remove the microphone amplifier.
