Installation

SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEMS: FRONT SEAT SIDE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL FRONT SEAT AIRBAG ASSEMBLY

CAUTION:
* The nuts must not be reused.
* Make sure that the separate type front seatback spring assembly is not deformed. If it is, replace it with a new one.
(a) Install the front seat airbag assembly with 2 new nuts.

Torque : 5.5 Nm (56 kgf-cm, 49 in-lbf)

(b) Engage the 3 clamps to connect the airbag wire harness.

2. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK COVER

for Manual Seat: Reassembly

for Power Seat: Reassembly

3. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD

for Manual Seat: Reassembly

for Power Seat: Reassembly

4. INSTALL AIRBAG WIRE HARNESS (for Manual Seat)

(a) w/ Seat Heater System:

(1) Engage the clamp.

(2) Connect the connector.

(b) Engage the fastener to install the airbag wire harness.

(c) Engage the claw and 3 clamps to install the airbag wire harness.

(d) Install the rubber band.

5. INSTALL AIRBAG WIRE HARNESS (for Power Seat)

(a) w/ Seat Heater System:

(1) Engage the clamp.

(2) Connect the connector.

(b) Engage the fastener to install the airbag wire harness.

(c) Engage the claw and 3 clamps to install the airbag wire harness.

(d) Install the rubber band.
