Disassembly

SEAT: FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Power Seat): DISASSEMBLY

1. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY Removal

2. REMOVE SEAT ADJUSTER COVER CAP

(a) Remove the seat adjuster cover cap.

HINT
Use the same procedure for the LH side and RH side.

3. REMOVE SLIDE AND VERTICAL POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB

(a) Using a moulding remover, disengage the 4 claws and remove the slide and vertical power seat switch knob.

4. REMOVE RECLINING POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB

(a) Using a moulding remover, disengage the 4 claws and remove the reclining power seat switch knob.

5. REMOVE FRONT INNER NO. 1 SEAT CUSHION SHIELD

(a) Remove the screw.

(b) Disengage the guide as shown in the illustration.

(c) Disengage the claw and 2 guides, and remove the front inner No. 1 seat cushion shield as shown in the illustration.

(d) Using a clip remover, remove the clip.

6. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD

(a) Separate the rubber band of the separate type front seatback cover.

(b) Disengage the 8 claws and guide (1).

(c) Disengage the clip and guide (2), and disconnect the front seat cushion shield.

(d) Disengage the 2 claws and open the wire harness cover.

(e) Remove the wire harness from the wire harness cover.

(f) Disengage the 2 clamps.

(g) w/o Seat Position Memory System:

(1) Disconnect the connector and remove the front seat cushion shield.

(h) w/ Seat Position Memory System:

(1) Disconnect the 2 connectors and remove the front seat cushion shield.

7. REMOVE FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH

(a) Remove the 3 screws and the front power seat switch.

8. REMOVE LUMBAR SWITCH

(a) Disengage the 4 claws and remove the lumbar switch.

9. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER CUSHION SHIELD

(a) Disengage the 4 claws and remove the front seat inner cushion shield.

10. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD

(a) Disengage the fastener and separate the side airbag wire harness.

(b) w/ Seat Heater System:

(1) Disconnect the connector.

(2) Disengage the clamp and disconnect the seat heater wire harness.

(3) Disconnect the connector.

(4) Disengage the 3 clamps and disconnect the seat heater wire harness.

(c) Disengage the 4 hooks.

(d) Disengage each hook and remove the separate type front seat cushion cover with pad.

11. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER

(a) Remove the 2 hog rings.

(b) Remove the 21 hog rings and the separate type front seat cushion cover from the separate type front seat cushion pad.

12. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD

(a) Disengage the 2 fasteners.

(b) Remove the 5 hog rings.

(d) Disengage the fastener.

(e) Disengage the 4 claws and remove the 2 front seat headrest supports.

(f) Remove the nut.

(g) Disengage the 2 hooks and disconnect the front seatback cover bracket.

(h) Remove the separate type front seatback cover with pad from the seat frame.

13. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER

(a) Remove the 14 hog rings and the separate type front seatback cover from the separate type front seatback pad.

14. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER

(a) Detach the 3 pieces of double-sided tape and remove the front seat cushion cover.

15. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK COVER

(a) Detach the 4 pieces of double-sided tape and remove the front seatback cover.

16. REMOVE FRONT SEAT AIRBAG ASSEMBLY

Removal

17. REMOVE UPPER RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH

(a) Disengage the guide and remove the upper reclining adjuster inside cover LH.

18. REMOVE UPPER RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH

(a) Disengage the guide and remove the upper reclining adjuster inside cover RH.

19. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD LH

(a) Remove the screw.

(b) Disengage the hook as shown in the illustration.

(c) Disengage the clip and remove the front seat lower cushion shield LH.

20. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD RH

(a) Remove the screw.

(b) Disengage the hook as shown in the illustration.

(c) Disengage the clip and remove the front seat lower cushion shield RH.

21. REMOVE LOWER RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH

(a) Remove the screw.

(b) Disengage the 2 guides and remove the lower reclining adjuster inside cover LH.

22. REMOVE LOWER RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH

(a) Remove the screw.

(b) Disengage the 2 guides and remove the lower reclining adjuster inside cover RH.

23. REMOVE SEAT POSITION AIRBAG SENSOR Removal

24. REMOVE SEAT HEATER CONTROL SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the connector.

(b) Disengage the 2 clamps and remove the seat heater control sub-assembly.

25. REMOVE FRONT SEAT WIRE

(a) Disconnect the 5 connectors.

(b) Disengage the 5 clamps and remove the front seat wire.

26. REMOVE NO. 2 FRONT SEAT WIRE

(a) Disconnect the 2 connectors.

(b) Disengage the 2 clamps and remove the No. 2 front seat wire.

27. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK SPRING ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the 4 bolts and the separate type front seatback spring assembly.
