AUDIO / VIDEO: MICROPHONE: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY Removal

2. REMOVE GARAGE DOOR OPENER TRANSMITTER (w/ Garage Door Opener System)

w/o Sliding Roof: Removal

w/ Sliding Roof: Removal

3. REMOVE AMPLIFIER MICROPHONE ASSEMBLY

(a) Peel back the tape used to secure the cord only to the extent that allows removal of the cord.





HINT
Tape is not available as a supply part. Try to leave as much tape as possible on the map light assembly so that the tape can be reused.

(b) Disconnect the connector and disengage the guide.





(c) Remove the 7 screws and cover.





(d) Remove the board as shown in the illustration.





(e) Remove the map knob guide as shown in the illustration.





(f) Disengage the 2 claws.





(g) Disconnect the connector to remove the amplifier microphone assembly.
