B2620 - ECU Power Source Circuit Malfunction

DESCRIPTION

The ECU power source circuit supplies positive (+) battery voltage to the multiplex tilt and telescopic ECU.

INSEPCTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT FUSE (MPX-B3, D/C CUT)

(a) Remove the MPX-B3 fuse from the passenger side junction block.

(b) Remove the D/C CUT fuse from the engine room No. 1 relay block.

(c) Measure the resistance of the fuse.

Standard resistance:

Below 1 Ohms

NG -- REPLACE FUSE
OK -- Continue to next step.

2. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (ECU - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)





(a) Disconnect the T8 ECU connector.

(b) Measure the voltage of the wire harness side connector.

Standard voltage:





(c) Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connector.

Standard resistance:





NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR

OK -- REPLACE MULTIPLEX TILT AND TELESCOPIC ECU
