PROCEDURE
1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MULTI-MEDIA INTERFACE ECU - VIDEO TERMINAL)
(a) w/o Disc Player:
(1) Disconnect the R66 multi-media interface ECU connector.
(2) Disconnect the L78 video (video adapter) terminal connector.
(3) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:
(b) for Roof with Disc Player:
(1) Disconnect the R66 multi-media interface ECU connector.
(2) Disconnect the Y3 video (video adapter) terminal connector.
(3) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:
(c) for Console Box with Disc Player:
(1) Disconnect the R66 multi-media interface ECU connector.
(2) Disconnect the U2 video (video adapter) terminal connector.
(3) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. CHECK VIDEO (VIDEO ADAPTER) TERMINAL
(a) w/o Disc Player:
(1) Using an oscilloscope, check the waveform between each terminal and the body ground according to the conditions as shown in the table below.
