PARK ASSIST / MONITORING: CLEARANCE WARNING BUZZER: REMOVAL

1. PRECAUTION (W/ Navigation System for HDD)

Service Precautions

NOTICE:
* After the engine switch is turned off, the display and navigation module display (HDD navigation system) records various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, make sure to wait at least 60 seconds before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
* A hard disk drive (HDD) is built into the multi-display to store map data etc. which will be used for the navigation system. Therefore, make sure to read all of the precautions thoroughly before handling the multi-display.
2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL (W/ Navigation System for HDD)

3. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Automatic Transmission) Removal

4. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Manual Transmission) Removal

5. REMOVE UPPER NO. 1 CONSOLE PANEL GARNISH (for Automatic Transmission) Removal

6. REMOVE UPPER NO. 2 CONSOLE PANEL GARNISH (for Automatic Transmission) Removal

7. REMOVE CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Automatic Transmission) Removal

8. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Manual Transmission) Removal

9. REMOVE FRONT CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Manual Transmission) Removal

10. REMOVE FRONT ASH RECEPTACLE ASSEMBLY Removal

11. REMOVE NO. 3 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY Removal

12. REMOVE CENTER LOWER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL Removal

13. REMOVE INTEGRATION CONTROL PANEL WITH RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY (W/O Navigation System) Removal

14. REMOVE DISPLAY AND NAVIGATION MODULE DISPLAY WITH RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY (W/ Navigation System) Removal

15. REMOVE CLEARANCE WARNING BUZZER

(a) Disconnect the connector.

(b) Disengage the clamp and remove the clearance warning buzzer.
