Installation
BRAKE SYSTEM (OTHER): BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER: INSTALLATION
1. INSPECT AND ADJUST BRAKE BOOSTER PUSH ROD Testing and Inspection
2. INSTALL BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) Install a new O-ring to the brake master cylinder sub-assembly.
(b) Install the brake master cylinder sub-assembly to the brake booster assembly with the 2 nuts.
Torque : 13 Nm (127 kgf-cm, 9 ft-lbf)
(c) Using a union nut wrench, connect the 2 brake lines to the brake master cylinder sub-assembly.
Torque : 15 Nm (155 kgf-cm, 11 ft-lbf)
NOTICE:
* Do not kink or damage the brake lines.
* Do not allow any foreign matter such as dirt or dust to enter the brake lines.
* Use the formula to calculate special torque values for situations where the union nut wrench is combined with a torque wrench Service Precautions.
(d) Engage the clamp and connect the connector.
3. CONNECT CLUTCH RESERVOIR HOSE (for Manual Transmission)
(a) Connect the clutch reservoir hose to the brake master cylinder reservoir sub-assembly with the clip.
4. INSTALL NO. 3 ENGINE ROOM RELAY BLOCK
(a) Install the No. 3 engine room relay block with the bolt and nut.
Torque : 8.0 Nm (82 kgf-cm, 71 in-lbf)
5. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
6. BLEED BRAKE SYSTEM
