B2060 - ABS Malfunction
DESCRIPTION
This DTC is stored when a malfunction in the brake system is detected. This circuit consists of the skid control ECU and seat belt control ECU. Signals are sent from the skid control ECU through CAN communication.
INSPECTION PROCEDURE
NOTICE:
When the seat belt control ECU is replaced with a new one, Initialization must be performed Pre-Collision System.
PROCEDURE
1. CHECK DTC (CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM)
(a) Clear the DTC Pre-Collision System.
(b) Recheck for DTCs.
OK:
CAN communication system DTC is not output.
NG -- GO TO CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. CHECK DTC (BRAKE CONTROL SYSTEM)
(a) Clear the DTC (Vehicle stability control system: Vehicle Stability Control System, Electronically controlled brake system: Electronically Controlled Brake System).
(b) Recheck for DTCs.
OK:
Brake control system DTC is not output.
NG -- GO TO BRAKE CONTROL SYSTEM
OK -- Continue to next step.
3. CHECK DTC (PRE-COLLISION SYSTEM)
(a) Clear the DTC Pre-Collision System.
(b) Recheck that the B2060 is not output.
OK:
DTC B2060 is not output.
NG -- REPLACE SEAT BELT CONTROL ECU
OK -- USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK
