Installation
PARKING BRAKE: PARKING BRAKE PEDAL: INSTALLATION
1. INSTALL PARKING BRAKE PEDAL ASSEMBLY
(a) Install the parking brake pedal assembly with the bolt and 2 nuts.
Torque : 39 Nm (398 kgf-cm, 29 ft-lbf)
(b) Connect the parking brake switch connector.
(c) Install the No. 1 parking brake cable assembly to the body with the bolt, nut, and a new No. 1 parking brake cable clamp.
Bolt - Torque : 15 Nm (153 kgf-cm, 11 ft-lbf)
Nut - Torque : 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 in-lbf)
(d) Using a brass bar and a hammer, install the clip to the No. 1 parking brake cable assembly.
2. INSTALL NO. 2 DASH PANEL INSULATOR PAD
(a) Install the No. 2 dash panel insulator pad.
3. CONNECT NO. 4 PARKING BRAKE CABLE ASSEMBLY
(a) Connect the No. 4 parking brake cable assembly to the No. 1 parking brake cable assembly.
(b) Using SST and a wrench, hold the lock nut of the No. 1 parking brake cable and tighten the turnbuckle of the No. 4 parking brake cable.
SST : 09023-00101
without SST - Torque : 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 in-lbf)
with SST - Torque : 5.0 Nm (51 kgf-cm, 44 in-lbf)
NOTICE:
* Use a torque wrench with a fulcrum length of 250 mm (9.84 in.).
* This torque is effective when SST is parallel to a torque wrench.
4. INSTALL CENTER AIRBAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY Installation
5. INSTALL YAW RATE AND ACCELERATION SENSOR
(a) Install the yaw rate and acceleration sensor assembly with the 2 bolts.
Torque : 13 Nm (133 kgf-cm, 10 ft-lbf)
(b) Engage the clamp and connect the connector.
6. INSTALL NO. 1 CONSOLE BOX DUCT
(a) Install the No. 1 console box duct with the clip.
7. INSTALL FLOOR SHIFT LEVER ASSEMBLY
(a) Install the floor shift lever assembly with the 4 bolts.
Torque : 12 Nm (122 kgf-cm, 9 ft-lbf)
(b) Connect the 3 connectors.
8. INSTALL NO. 3 CONSOLE BOX DUCT
(a) Install the No. 3 console box duct with the bolt.
9. INSTALL NO. 2 CONSOLE BOX DUCT
(a) Install the No. 2 console box duct with the bolt.
10. INSTALL FLOOR CARPET BRACKET LH
(a) Install the floor carpet bracket LH with the 3 clips.
11. INSTALL FLOOR CARPET BRACKET RH
HINT
Use the same procedures for the RH side and the LH side.
12. INSTALL FRONT FLOOR FRONT CARPET ASSEMBLY
(a) Engage the 11 clamps, 4 claws, 4 clips and 5 fasteners, and install the front floor front carpet assembly.
13. INSTALL REAR CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY Installation

17. INSTALL UPPER CONSOLE PANEL ASSEMBLY WITH FRONT ASH RECEPTACLE Installation
18. INSTALL SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation
19. INSTALL LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation
20. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END LH Installation

26. INSTALL LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL RH Installation
27. INSTALL FRONT PASSENGER SIDE KNEE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY Installation

29. INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation
30. INSTALL FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM COVER RH Installation
31. INSTALL LOWER CENTER PILLAR GARNISH RH Installation
