3UZ-FE FUEL: FUEL PRESSURE PULSATION DAMPER: REMOVAL

REMOVAL

1. DISCHARGE FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE Removal
2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.

3. REMOVE V-BANK COVER Removal
4. REMOVE NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET Removal
5. REMOVE INTAKE AIR CONNECTOR PIPE Removal
6. REMOVE FUEL PRESSURE PULSATION DAMPER ASSEMBLY





(a) Using a union nut wrench, disconnect the fuel pipe.
(b) Remove the bolt from the No. 2 fuel pipe clamp.





(c) Using a wrench, remove the 2 fuel pulsation dampers, 4 gaskets and No. 2 fuel pipe.
