LIGHTING: LIGHTING SYSTEM: TERMINALS OF ECU
TERMINALS OF ECU
1. CHECK TURN SIGNAL SWITCH (COMBINATION SWITCH)
(a) Disconnect the C11 switch connector.
(b) Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connector.
- If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.
(c) Reconnect the C11 switch connector.
(d) Measure the voltage of the connector.
- If the result is not as specified, the switch may have a malfunction.
2. CHECK DRIVER SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK (DRIVER SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK ECU)
(a) Disconnect the D2 and D4 ECU connectors.
(b) Disconnect the 2A, 2C and 2G junction block connectors.
(c) Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connector.
- If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.
(d) Reconnect the D2 and D4 ECU connectors.
(e) Reconnect the 2A, 2C and 2G junction block connectors.
(f) Measure the voltage of the connectors.
- If the result is not as specified, the junction block (ECU) may have a malfunction.
3. CHECK PASSENGER SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK (PASSENGER SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK ECU)
(a) Disconnect the P4 ECU connector.
(b) Disconnect the 3B, 3E, 3F and 3G junction block connectors.
(c) Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connectors.
- If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.
(d) Reconnect the P4 ECU connector.
(e) Reconnect the 3B, 3E, 3F and 3G junction block connectors.
(f) Measure the voltage of the connectors.
- If the result is not as specified, the junction block (ECU) may have a malfunction.
4. CHECK LUGGAGE ROOM JUNCTION BLOCK (LUGGAGE ROOM JUNCTION BLOCK ECU)
(a) Disconnect the L24 ECU connector.
(b) Disconnect the 6A and 6F junction block connectors.
(c) Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connectors.
- If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.
(d) Reconnect the L24 ECU connector.
(e) Reconnect the 6A and 6F junction block connectors.
(f) Measure the voltage of the connectors.
- If the result is not as specified, the junction block (ECU) may have a malfunction.
5. CHECK ENGINE ROOM NO. 2 RELAY BLOCK (FRONT LIGHT ECU (FRONT CONTROLLER))
(a) Remove the front light ECU.
(b) Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connector.
- If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.
6. CHECK DRIVER DOOR ECU
(a) Disconnect the D19 ECU connector.
(b) Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connector.
- If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.
(c) Reconnect the D19 ECU connector.
(d) Measure the voltage of the connectors.
- If the result is not as specified, the ECU may have a malfunction.
7. CHECK PASSENGER DOOR ECU
(a) Disconnect the P11 ECU connector.
(b) Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connector.
- If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.
(c) Reconnect the P11 ECU connector.
(d) Measure the voltage of the connectors.
- If the result is not as specified, the ECU may have a malfunction.
8. CHECK AFS ECU
(a) Disconnect the A31 ECU connector.
(b) Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connector.
- If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.
(c) Reconnect the A31 ECU connector.
(d) Measure the voltage of the connector.
- If the result is not as specified, the ECU may have a malfunction.
(e) Using an oscilloscope, check the signal waveform of the ECU.
(f) Using an oscilloscope, check the signal waveform of the ECU.
(g) Using an oscilloscope, check the signal waveform of the ECU.
