Cruise Main Indicator Light Circuit
DESCRIPTION
The ECM detects a cruise control main switch signal and sends it to the combination meter through multiplex communication system (BEAN). Then the CRUISE main indicator light comes on.
INSPECTION PROCEDURE
PROCEDURE
1. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM (CRUISE INDICATOR LIGHT)
(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
(b) Check the CRUISE main indicator light by using Active Test.
Combination Meter
OK:
Indicator light illuminates/turns off.
NG -- GO TO METER / GAUGE SYSTEM
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (CRUISE INDICATOR LIGHT)
(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
(b) Turn the ignition switch ON and the Techstream on.
(c) Select the item below in the Data List and read the display on the Techstream.

OK:
When cruise control main switch operation is performed, the standard values will be above.
NG -- REPLACE ECM
OK -- END
