DTC B1273 - Sliding Roof ECU Communication Stop

DESCRIPTION

This DTC is detected when communication between the sliding roof control ECU and network gateway ECU stops for more than 10 seconds.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK LUGGAGE DOOR OPENING SWITCH ASSEMBLY (OPERATION)
(a) Check that the luggage door opening switch can operate the retractable hardtop normally.
OK:
Luggage door opening switch can operate retractable hardtop normally.
OK -- REPLACE SLIDING ROOF CONTROL ECU
NG -- Continue to next step.
2. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (SLIDING ROOF CONTROL ECU - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)




(a) Disconnect the S18 and S19 ECU connectors.
(b) Measure the resistance and voltage of the wire harness side connectors.
Standard voltage:






Standard resistance:






NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
3. CHECK RESISTANCE OF COMMUNICATION LINE




(a) Disconnect the P9, P23 and S18 ECU connectors.
(b) Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.
Standard resistance:
