NAVIGATION: NAVIGATION SYSTEM (for HDD): TERMINALS OF ECU

TERMINALS OF ECU

1. CHECK DISPLAY AND NAVIGATION ASSEMBLY





(a) Disconnect the L59 display connector.
(b) Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.





- If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

(c) Reconnect the L59 display connector.
(d) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.









HINT:
*1: W/O LEXUS Link System
*2: W/ Rear View Monitor System
*3: for DVD Changer Models
*4: W/ Advanced Parking Guidance System
*5: W/ Satellite Radio Tuner
*6: W/ Rear Seat Entertainment System
*7: W/O Satellite Radio Tuner
- If the result is not as specified, the display and navigation assembly may have a malfunction.





(e) Using an oscilloscope, check the waveform 1.










(f) Using an oscilloscope, check the waveform 2.






2. CHECK REAR POWER SEAT MODULE SWITCH (W/O Ottoman)





(a) Disconnect the r2 module connector.
(b) Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.





- If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on wire harness side.

(c) Reconnect the r2 controller connector.
(d) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.





- If the result is not as specified, the switch may have a malfunction.

3. CHECK REAR POWER SEAT MODULE SWITCH (W/ Ottoman)





(a) Disconnect the S15 module connector.
(b) Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.





- If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on wire harness side.

(c) Reconnect the S15 controller connector.
(d) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.





- If the result is not as specified, the switch may have a malfunction.

4. CHECK SATELLITE RADIO TUNER (W/ Satellite Radio Tuner)





(a) Disconnect the R27 tuner connector.
(b) Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.





- If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

(c) Reconnect the R27 tuner connector.
(d) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

*2: W/ Rear Seat Entertainment System
*3: W/O Rear Seat Entertainment System
- If the result is not as specified, the tuner may have a malfunction.
