BRAKE: BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER (for 2GR-FSE): REMOVAL
REMOVAL
NOTE:
Release the vacuum from the booster by depressing the brake pedal several times. Then remove the brake master cylinder sub-assembly from the brake booster assembly.

2. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL Removal
3. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH Removal
4. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM COVER SIDE Removal
5. REMOVE FRONT PILLAR TO FRONT SIDE SEAL SUB-ASSEMBLY LH Removal
6. REMOVE FRONT PILLAR TO FRONT SIDE SEAL SUB-ASSEMBLY RH Removal
7. REMOVE FRONT WIPER ARM AND BLADE ASSEMBLY LH Removal
8. REMOVE FRONT WIPER ARM AND BLADE ASSEMBLY RH Removal
9. REMOVE FRONT FENDER TO COWL SIDE SEAL LH Removal
10. REMOVE FRONT FENDER TO COWL SIDE SEAL RH Removal
11. REMOVE COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER SUB- ASSEMBLY Removal
12. DRAIN BRAKE FLUID
NOTE:
If brake fluid leaks onto any painted surface, wash or otherwise remove it completely.
13. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM RELAY NO.3 BLOCK
(a) Remove the bolt, nut and relay No.3 block.
NOTE:
Cover the relay No.3 block with a shop rag or piece of cloth to prevent brake fluid from adhering to it.
14. REMOVE BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) Disengage the clamp and disconnect the warning switch connector.
(b) Using SST, disconnect the 2 brake tubes from the brake master cylinder sub-assembly.
SST: 09023-00101
(c) Remove the 2 nuts and brake master cylinder sub-assembly from the brake booster assembly.
(d) Remove the O-ring from the brake master cylinder sub-assembly.
