Removal

1UR-FSE COOLING: WATER PUMP: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER
2. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT Service and Repair

3. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

4. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL Removal

5. REMOVE NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET Removal

6. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER RH Removal

7. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

8. REMOVE RADIATOR RESERVE TANK ASSEMBLY Removal

9. REMOVE V-RIBBED BELT Removal

10. DISCONNECT NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE






(a) Disconnect the No. 2 radiator hose from the water inlet sub-assembly with thermostat.
11. DISCONNECT NO. 5 WATER BY-PASS HOSE






(a) Disconnect the No. 5 water by-pass hose from the water inlet housing.
12. DISCONNECT WATER INLET HOSE






(a) Disconnect the water inlet hose from the water inlet housing.
13. DISCONNECT NO. 3 WATER BY-PASS HOSE






(a) Disconnect the No. 3 water by-pass hose from the water inlet housing.
14. REMOVE WATER INLET HOUSING






(a) Remove the 3 bolts, water inlet housing and gasket.
15. REMOVE WATER PUMP PULLEY






(a) Using a screwdriver or an equivalent, hold the water pump pulley.
HINT:
Tape the screwdriver tip before use to avoid damage.

(b) Remove the 4 bolts and water pump pulley.
16. REMOVE WATER PUMP






(a) Remove the 9 bolts, water pump and gasket.
