Sound Signal Circuit Between Radio Receiver and Stereo Jack Adapter
AUDIO / VISUAL: AUDIO AND VISUAL SYSTEM: Sound Signal Circuit between Radio Receiver and Stereo Jack Adapter
Sound Signal Circuit between Radio Receiver and Stereo Jack Adapter
DESCRIPTION
The stereo jack adapter sends an external device sound signal to the radio receiver through this circuit.
The sound signal that has been sent is amplified by the stereo component amplifier, and then is sent to the speakers.
If there is an open or short in the circuit, sound cannot be heard from the speakers even if there is no malfunction in the stereo component amplifier, radio receiver, or speakers.
HINT:
For models with a DVD changer, the sound signal circuit consists of a stereo jack adapter, sub wire harness, and radio receiver. Since the sub wire harness is supplied as part of the radio receiver assembly, if there are any problems with the sub wire harness, repair the harness or replace the radio receiver assembly. Because the sub wire harness is not supplied separately, the sub wire harness inspection procedure is not shown in this section.
