DTC P1572 Improper Aiming of Radar Sensor Beam Axis

DESCRIPTION

DTC Detection Condition:

This DTC is output when the scanning angle of the millimeter wave radar sensor is incorrect. This DTC is also output when the millimeter wave radar sensor beam axis is determined to be in an incorrect position.

HINT: If the beam axis deviates to the distance 4.0 to 6.0 m (13 to 20 ft), upper / lower side + / - 2° or more and / or the right / left side + / - 4° or more, this DTC is detected.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTE: When the millimeter wave radar sensor is replaced with a new one, adjustment of the radar sensor beam axis must be performed.
