DTC B2531 LUGGAGE DOOR OPEN SWITCH MALFUNCTION

CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION

DTC Detection Condition:

The luggage door open switch is located at the bottom of the luggage link. The luggage door open switch detects if the luggage door is fully open.
The luggage door open switch is turned ON when the luggage door is fully closed and turned OFF when it is fully open.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

HINT: Continuously repeating the roof open/close operation may stop the motor operation due to a function of the positive temperature coefficient thermistor. However, this is not a malfunction.
