CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION

DTC Detecting Condition:




This DTC is output when failure of the cam position switch circuit is detected.

HINT: When cam position switch 1, 2 and 3 are not all "ON" or all "OFF", this DTC is cleared.

The cam position switch is built in the door lock assembly and detects the position of the closer motor.

The relationship between each switch and closer conditions are as follows motor.




When it operates in regular rotation, the operation is performed in order from top of the list. When in reverse rotation, from bottom of the list.

If the closer detection switch does not operate in order as mentioned above the door ECU judges the closer as defective and the operation is stopped.

Regular rotation: 1 -> 2 -> 3 -> 4 -> 6 -> 5 -> 1
Reverse rotation: 1 -> 5 -> 6 -> 4 -> 3 -> 2 -> 1

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

HINT: In case of using the LEXUS hand-held tester, start the inspection from step 1 and in case of not using the LEXUS hand-held tester, start from step 2.
