DTC 32

CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
The side airbag sensor assembly consists of a side airbag sensor, safing sensor, drive circuit, diagnosis circuit and ignition control etc.
It receives signals from the side airbag sensor, judges whether or not the SRS must be activated, and diagnosis system malfunction.
DTC 32 is recorded when occurrence of a malfunction in the side airbag sensor assembly is detected.

1. Are Connector Of Side Airbag Sensor Assembly (LH) Properly Connected?




2. Preparation




3. Check The Power Source Harness. (Between Side Airbag Assembly (RH) And Side Airbag Sensor Assembly (LH))




4. Check The Earth Harness. (Between Side Airbag Assembly (RH) And Side Airbag Sensor Assembly (LH))




5. Check The Communication Harness. (Between Side Airbag Assembly (RH) And Side Airbag Sensor Assembly (LH))




6. Replace Side Airbag Sensor Assembly (LH) And Perform DTC Checking




7. Replace Side Airbag Sensor Assembly (RH)




8. Check The Power Source Harness. (Between Side Airbag Sensor Assembly (RH) And Relay Connector.)




9. Check The Power Source Voltage




10. Check The Earth Harness. (Between Side Airbag Sensor Assembly (RH) And Relay Connector.)




11. Check The Connector Resistance Of The Side Airbag Sensor Assembly (RH)




12. Check The Communication Harness. (Between Side Airbag Sensor Assembly (RH) And Relay Connector.)




13. Check The Communication Harness. (Between Side Airbag Sensor Assembly (LH) And Relay Connector.)
