DTC 91 - VEHICLE SPEED SENSOR CIRCUIT

CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION





The vehicle speed sensor is driven by the gear of the transmission via the rotor shaft, and for each rotation of the shaft, the vehicle speed sensor sends a 20 pulses signal to the meter. This signal is converted inside the meter and sent as a 4 pulses signal to the suspension ECU.





The ECU calculates the vehicle speed from this pulse frequency.
