CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
The vehicle speed sensor outputs a 4-pulse signal for every revolution of the transmission output shaft. After this signal converted into a more precise rectangular wave form by the wave form shaping circuit inside the combination meter, it is then transmitted to the Engine Control Module (ECM).




DETECTING CONDITION

REFERENCE
Waveform between terminals SPD and E1 when vehicle speed is approx. 37 MPH (60 km/h).




HINT:The more the vehicle speed gains, the more the SPD signal produces.
