Installation





FRONT SUSPENSION: FRONT STABILIZER BAR: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL NO. 1 FRONT STABILIZER BAR BUSHING

(a) Install the 2 No. 1 front stabilizer bar bushings to the front stabilizer bar as shown in the illustration.

NOTICE:
When installing the No. 1 front stabilizer bar bushings, make sure that the cutout faces the rear of the vehicle.

2. INSTALL NO. 2 FRONT STABILIZER BRACKET LH

(a) Install the No. 2 front stabilizer bracket LH to the No. 1 front stabilizer bar bushing.





3. INSTALL NO. 2 FRONT STABILIZER BRACKET RH

HINT
Perform the same procedure as the LH side.

4. INSTALL FRONT STABILIZER BAR

(a) Install the front stabilizer bar by inserting it from the right side of the vehicle.

5. INSTALL NO. 1 FRONT STABILIZER BRACKET LH

(a) Install the No. 1 front stabilizer bracket LH to the front frame assembly with the 2 bolts.





Torque : 29 Nm (296 kgf-cm, 21 ft-lbf)

6. INSTALL NO. 1 FRONT STABILIZER BRACKET RH

HINT
Perform the same procedure as the LH side.

7. INSTALL FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Install the front stabilizer link assembly LH with the nut.





Torque : 74 Nm (755 kgf-cm, 55 ft-lbf)

HINT
If the ball joint turns together with the nut, use a hexagon wrench (6 mm) to hold the stud bolt.

8. INSTALL FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY RH

HINT
Perform the same procedure as the LH side.

9. INSTALL ENGINE ASSEMBLY WITH TRANSAXLE

HINT
Refer to the procedure from Install Engine Assembly with Transaxle Installation.
