Brake Fluid Reservoir
This is a "Trustmark Authoring Standards (TAS) Repair Procedure"
- TAS style procedures can be identified by steps that have no accompanying step text and the magenta color of the electrical connectors and fasteners such as nuts, bolts, clamps or clips.
- TAS removal and installation procedures use a sequence of color illustrations to indicate the order to be followed when removing/disassembling or installing/assembling a component.

Removal

CAUTION: If brake fluid is spilt on the paintwork, the affected area must be immediately washed down with cold water.

NOTE:
Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.









1 Using a suitable suction device drain the brake fluid reservoir.









CAUTION: Make sure that all openings are sealed. Use new blanking plugs.

CAUTION: Be prepared to catch escaping fluid.

NOTE:
Discard the seals.
Release the both locking tangs.
Remove the brake fluid reservoir.

Installation
All vehicles

NOTE:
Remove and discard the blanking plugs.

NOTE:
Install new seals.
1 To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Vehicles with standard brakes
2 Bleed the braking system.

3 Bleed the braking system.
