DTC DETECTING CONDITION

1. DTC Description
The ECM monitors communication between microcontroller and front O2 sensor controller (ATIC 42), built in ECM, and sets DTC P0606 if either initialization of front O2 sensor controller fails or implausible communication is detected during operation of front O2 sensor controller.
If same error code is set in the next driving cycle, the ECM will illuminate the MIL.

2. Conditions for Setting the DTC

Inspection Procedure
- This is internal fault. There is no troubleshooting procedure for it.
- Temporarily install a good ECM and check for proper operation. If problem is corrected, replace ECM.
