K4 Check Harness Continuity - Switched Power Supply

K4 CHECK HARNESS CONTINUITY - SWITCHED POWER SUPPLY





1. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
2. Disconnect the harness connector.
3. With EM007 and LF008 disconnected, measure the resistance between EM007/054 and LF008/007.
4. Repeat for EM007/055 and LF008/007.
- Is the resistance less than 0.5 ohms?
Yes --> GO to [K5] K5 End
No --> Inspect EM007, LF008 & LF040 for corrosion, bent / pushed back pins or locate and repair the harness / splice EMS42. Test the system for normal operation.
