C7 Check Harness Continuity - Solenoid

C7 CHECK HARNESS CONTINUITY- SOLENOID





1. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
2. Disconnect the harness connector.
3. With EM007 and EM046 disconnected, measure the resistance in turn;
4. EM007/030 and EM046/008
5. EM007/033 and EM046/009
6. EM007/032 and EM046/004
- Is the resistance less than 0.5 ohms?
Yes --> GO to [C8] C8 Check For Short To B+
No --> Inspect EM007 and EM046 for corrosion, bent / pushed back pins or locate and repair the harness. Test the system for normal operation.
