C6: Check Harness Continuity - Ground (Throttle Position)

With conditions as C5, measure the resistance between
PI006/001 & EM011/012
PI008/001 & EM010/020

Is the resistance < 0.5 ohms?

Yes
Do not reconnect
Go to C7 C7: Check Harness Continuity - Signal (Throttle Position)

No
Inspect PI042, EM011, EM010 & PI001 for bent/pushed back pins or locate & repair the harness/splice EMS02 or PIS01 & test the system for normal operation
OK? Go to C18 C18: Check Sensor Supply Voltage
