Low Tire Pressure Warning Lamp
LOW TIRE PRESSURE WARNING LAMP
Component Function Check
1. CHECK THE ILLUMINATION OF THE LOW TIRE PRESSURE WARNING LAMP
Check that the low tire pressure warning lamp is turned OFF after illuminating for approximately 1 second, when the ignition switch is turned ON.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES- INSPECTION END
NO- Perform trouble diagnosis. Refer to "Diagnosis Procedure" .
Diagnosis Procedure
1. POWER SUPPLY AND GROUND CIRCUIT
Check power supply and ground circuit. Refer to "Diagnosis Procedure" Power Supply and Ground Circuit.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES- GO TO 2.
NO- Repair or replace damaged parts.
2. PERFORM SELF-DIAGNOSIS
With CONSULT
Perform "SELF-DIAG RESULTS" in "AIR PRESSURE MONITOR" of "BCM".
Is any DTC detected?
YES- Check the DTC. Refer to "DTC Index" Testing and Inspection.
NO- GO TO 3.
3. CHECK LOW TIRE PRESSURE WARNING LAMP SIGNAL
With CONSULT
1.Turn the ignition switch ON.
CAUTION:
Never start the engine.
2.Perform "DATA MONITOR" in "AIR PRESSURE MONITOR" of "BCM".
3.Select "BCM" in "DATA MONITOR", and check that the low tire pressure warning lamp is turned OFF after illuminating for approximately 1 second, when the ignition switch is turned ON.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES- Check the combination meter. Refer to "METER SYSTEM : System Description" System Description.
NO- Replace the BCM. Refer to "Exploded View" Exploded View.
