POWER WINDOW MOTOR - REAR RH





Description
Door glass moves UP/DOWN by receiving the signal power window main switch or power window sub-switch .




Component Function Check
1. CHECK POWER WINDOW MOTOR CIRCUIT
Check passenger side power window motor operation with power window main switch or power window sub switch.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES - Power window motor is OK.
NO - SEE Diagnosis Procedure.




Diagnosis Procedure
1.CHECK REAR POWER WINDOW MOTOR RH INPUT SIGNAL
1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect rear power window motor RH connector.
3. Turn ignition switch ON.
4. Check voltage between rear power window motor RH harness connector and ground.





Is the measurement value within the specification?
YES - Replace rear power window motor LH. Removal And Installation.
NO - GO TO 2.
2.CHECK RETRACTABLE HARD TOP CONTROL UNIT OUTPUT SIGNAL
Check voltage between retractable hard top control unit connector and ground.





Is the inspection result normal?
YES - GO TO 3.
NO - Replace retractable hard top control unit. Service and Repair.
3.CHECK HARNESS CONTINUITY
1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect retractable hard top control unit connector.
3. Check continuity between retractable hard top control unit harness connector and rear power window motor RH harness connector.





4. Check continuity between retractable hard top control unit harness connector and ground.





Is the inspection result normal?
YES - GO TO 4.
NO - Repair or replace harness.
4.CHECK INTERMITTENT INCIDENT
Intermittent Incident.
