Power Brake Booster Inlet Hose Replacement

Removal Procedure
Warning: Refer to Brake Fluid Irritant Warning (Brake Fluid Irritant Warning).


1. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
2. Apply and release the brake pedal 20 times to deplete the hydraulic brake booster accumulator reserve.
3. Using a suitable tool, remove the brake fluid from the master cylinder reservoir.
Discard the brake fluid into an approved container.




4. Release the power brake booster inlet hose clamps (1).
5. Remove the power brake booster inlet hose (2).

Installation Procedure




1. Install the power brake booster inlet hose (2).
2. Install the power brake booster inlet hose clamps (1).
3. Fill the master cylinder reservoir. Refer to Master Cylinder Reservoir Filling (without RPO BRM) (Master Cylinder Reservoir Filling (Without RPO BRM))Master Cylinder Reservoir Filling (with RPO BRM) (Master Cylinder Reservoir Filling (With RPO BRM)).
