Water Pump Replacement

1. Remove the drive belt Service and Repair.

2. Drain the engine coolant Service and Repair.

3. Remove the drive belt auto-tensioner pulley Drive Belt Auto-Tensioner Pulley Replacement.

4. Remove the crankshaft pulley.

5. Disconnect the oil cooler outlet hose (A).





6. Remove the oil cooler joint pipe (B), then remove the seven bolts securing the water pump. Remove the water pump (C).

7. Inspect, and clean the mating surface of the water passage.

8. Install the water pump with a new O-rings (D) and the oil cooler joint pipe.

9. Connect the oil cooler outlet hose.

10. Clean up any spilled engine coolant.

11. Install the crankshaft pulley.

12. Install the drive belt auto-tensioner pulley Drive Belt Auto-Tensioner Pulley Replacement.

13. Install the drive belt Service and Repair.

14. Refill the radiator with engine coolant, and bleed the air from the cooling system Service and Repair.
