Front Inner Fender Replacement (2-Door)




Front Inner Fender Replacement

2-door (Except Si model)

NOTE:

- Put on gloves to protect your hands.

- Take care not to scratch the body.

- When prying with a flat-tip screwdriver, wrap it with protective tape to prevent damage.

1. Remove the front wheel. Front Knuckle/Hub/Wheel Bearing Replacement

2. Remove the front inner fender (A).
-1 Canada models: On the back of the wheel arch, remove the screws (B), and remove the front splash guard (C).
From under the front bumper (D), detach the clips (E, F) which secure the splash shield (G) and the front inner fender to the front bumper.
-3 From the wheel arch, detach the clips (H, I, J) securing the front inner fender (and splash shield) to the body.
Release the hook (K) of the splash shield, then remove the front inner fender.
-4 NOTE: Release the clips E, F, H by prying up on the center pin at the notch (L).

3. Install the inner fender in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
- If the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, replace them with new ones.

- Push the clips and the hooks into place securely.





2-door (Si model/For Some '08-10 Models)

NOTE:

- Put on gloves to protect your hands.

- Take care not to scratch the body.

- When prying with a flat-tip screwdriver, wrap it with protective tape to prevent damage.

1. Remove the front wheel. Front Knuckle/Hub/Wheel Bearing Replacement

2. Remove the front inner fender (A).
Canada models: On the back of the wheel arch, remove the screws (B), and remove the front splash guard (C).
-2 From under the front bumper (D), detach the clips (E, F), which secure the splash shield (G) and the front inner fender to the front bumper. Then remove the bolt (H), which secures the front strake (I) to the bumper and the inner fender.
From the wheel arch, detach the clips (J, K, L) securing the front inner fender (and splash shield) to the body.
-4 Release the hook (M) of the splash shield, then remove the front inner fender.
NOTE: Release the clips E, F, J by prying up on the center pin at the notch (N).

3. Install the inner fender in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
- If the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, replace them with new ones.

- Push the clips and the hook into place securely.
