Water Pump Replacement

1. Remove the drive belt. Drive Belt Removal/Installation

2. Drain the engine coolant. Service and Repair

3. Remove the drive belt auto-tensioner pulley. Drive Belt Auto-Tensioner Removal/Installation

4. Remove the crankshaft pulley. Service and Repair

5. Remove the oil cooler joint pipe (A), then remove the seven bolts securing the water pump. Remove the water pump (B).

6. Inspect, and clean the O-ring groove and mating surface of the water passage.

7. Install the water pump with new O-rings (C) and the oil cooler joint pipe.

8. Clean up any spilled engine coolant.

9. Install the crankshaft pulley. Service and Repair

10. Install the drive belt auto-tensioner pulley. Drive Belt Auto-Tensioner Removal/Installation

11. Install the drive belt. Drive Belt Removal/Installation

12. Refill the radiator with engine coolant, and bleed the air from the cooling system with the heater valve open. Service and Repair
