Glass, Frames and Mechanisms

Pinpoint Test D: A Single Power Window is Inoperative - RH Front, SHO, Limited

Refer to Wiring Diagram Set 100, Power Windows for schematic and connector information. Diagrams By Number

NOTE: A new power window motor will not operate in one-touch up mode until initialized. Refer to Window Motor Initialization .

Normal Operation

Under normal operation, the RH front power window motor receives high current power at all times through circuit SBP04 (GN/RD). Ground is provided to the RH front power window motor through circuit GD145 (BK/BU). The RH front power window motor receives low current power from the accessory delay relay through circuit CBB38 (GY/BU). When the LH front window control switch is in the UNLOCK position, voltage is supplied to the RH front window control switch through circuit CPW14 (VT/WH). When the RH front or LH front window control switch is operated in the UP position, the RH front window motor receives a voltage signal through circuit CPW13 (BN/YE). When the RH front or LH front window control switch is operated in the DOWN position, the RH front window motor receives a voltage signal through circuit CPW12 (GN/OG).

This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the following:

- Fuse

- Wiring, terminals or connectors

- LH front window control switch

- RH front window control switch

- RH front window regulator motor

PINPOINT TEST D : A SINGLE POWER WINDOW IS INOPERATIVE - RH FRONT, SHO, LIMITED

NOTICE: Use the correct probe adapter(s) from the Flex Probe Kit when making measurements. Failure to use the correct probe adapter(s) may damage the connector.

D1 CHECK THE RH FRONT WINDOW OPERATION FROM THE LH FRONT WINDOW CONTROL SWITCH
