Removal and Installation
Windshield washer pump or windshield washer fluid reservoir

NOTE: To prevent spilling windshield washer fluid, drain the windshield washer fluid reservoir before removing the windshield washer pump or windshield washer fluid reservoir.
1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to Vehicle Jacking and Lifting.
2. Remove the RH fender splash shield.
3. Rotate the windshield washer pump in a clockwise direction to access the washer jet hose C-lock coupler.
4. Disconnect the windshield washer pump-to-washer jet hose. For additional information, refer to C-Lock Coupler C-Lock Coupler.
5. Disconnect the windshield washer pump electrical connector.

6. Remove the windshield washer pump.
- Pull the windshield washer pump upward, away from the windshield washer fluid reservoir.
- NOTICE: When installing the windshield washer pump, be careful not to damage the rubber grommet.
To install, press the windshield washer pump down until fully seated and rotate counterclockwise.

7. Remove the 2 windshield washer fluid reservoir bolts.
- To install, tighten to 6 Nm (53 lb-in).
8. Remove the windshield washer fluid reservoir nut and the windshield washer fluid reservoir.
- To install, tighten to 6 Nm (53 lb-in).

9. NOTICE: Do not operate the windshield pump before filling the windshield washer fluid reservoir. Failure to do so could result in premature pump failure.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
