Bumper Cover - Front, Taurus X

Removal and Installation

1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.

2. Remove the fender moulding.

3. Remove the 2 front bumper cover scrivets.

4. Remove the 2 front bumper cover bolts.

5. Remove the 4 bolts positioned under the front section of the bumper cover.

6. If equipped, disconnect the fog lamps electrical connector.

7. NOTE: The rearward upper of the bumper cover must be pulled outward to unclip it from the fender.

Release the LH and RH wheel lip moulding tabs and remove the front bumper cover.

8. Inspect the bumper cover mounting reinforcements for damage. If necessary, install new bumper cover mounting reinforcements.

9. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
