Normal Operation
When the headlamp switch is placed in the autolamp position, a voltage signal is sent to the smart junction box (SJB) through circuit 220 (VT/OG). The SJB then monitors the light sensor by sending a reference voltage signal through circuit 218 (WH/VT). The light sensor is grounded through circuit 651 (BK/YE).
Possible Causes
- Circuit 218 (WH/VT) open or short to voltage
- Circuit 220 (VT/OG) short to voltage
- Circuit 651 (BK/YE) open
- Headlamp switch
- Light sensor
- SJB
