Normal Operation
The smart junction box (SJB) monitors the door disarm switch on circuit 1088 (PK/WH). The disarm signal occurs when the driver door lock cylinder is turned to unlock causing the door disarm switch to complete the circuit through circuit 57 (BK). This signals the SJB to cancel the alarm function.

DTC B1833 - circuit 1088 (PK/WH) may be shorted to ground or the door disarm switch may be shorted internally, closing circuit 1088 (PK/WH) to ground constantly.

Possible Causes
- Circuit 57 (BK) open
- Circuit 1088 (PK/WH) open
- Door disarm switch
- SJB
