Normal Operation
The luggage compartment lid release solenoid is grounded on circuit 1205 (BK). When the smart junction box (SJB) receives an open command from the RKE transmitter the SJB grounds the luggage compartment lid release relay control circuit 26 (WH/VT). The relay closes and supplies voltage to circuit 1092 (PK/OG) which closes the luggage compartment lid release solenoid, releasing the luggage compartment lid.

DTC B1551 - is a continuous or on-demand DTC that sets if the SJB detects an open or short to ground on the door lock circuit 26 (WH/VT).

Possible Causes
- Fuse
- Circuit 26 (WH/VT) open or short to ground
- Circuit 1092 (PK/OG) open
- Circuit 1205 (BK) open
- RKE transmitter
- Luggage compartment lid release relay
- Luggage compartment lid release solenoid (part of the luggage compartment lid latch)
- Bussed electrical center (BEC)
- SJB
