Normal Operation
When the wiper switch is moved to the desired position, one or more of circuits 56 (DB/OG), 58 (WH), 61 (YE/RD) or 63 (RD) from the smart junction box (SJB) are grounded through circuit 651 (BK/YE). With the ignition switch in the RUN or ACC position, the wiper run/park relay receives voltage from the smart junction box (SJB) through circuit 950 (WH/BK). When low speed wiper operation is selected, the SJB provides a ground path for the run/park relay coil through circuit 646 (YE/WH). The relay directs voltage from circuit 61 (YE/RD) through the hi/low relay to the wiper motor, which is grounded through circuit 57 (BK).

Possible Causes
- fuse(s)
- circuit 57 (BK) open
- circuit 61 (YE/RD) open
- circuit 646 (YE/WH) open or short to voltage
- circuit 651 (BK/YE) open
- multifunction switch
- SJB
- wiper motor
