J4-J5:
Normal Operation
When the brake pedal is applied, voltage is routed to the high mounted stoplamp and the multifunction switch through circuit 810 (RD/LG). The multifunction switch then routes the voltage to the LH and RH rear stoplamps through circuits 9 (LG/OG) and 5 (OG/LB), respectively. The stoplamps are grounded through circuit 57 (BK).
Possible Causes
- Circuit 5 (OG/LB) open
- Circuit 9 (LG/OG) open
- Circuit 57 (BK) open
- Circuit 810 (RD/LG) open
- Multifunction switch
