Normal Operation
The audio unit receives AM/FM transmissions through the antenna mast. The signal is then transferred from the antenna mast to the rear control unit (RCU) (also referred to as the audio unit) through the antenna cable. The suppression capacitors and ground straps reduce radio interference from the charging and ignition system by acting as a buffer for voltage spikes and minimizing electro-magnetic interference caused by system components such as the generator.

Possible Causes
- Suppression equipment
- Ignition system
- Generator
- Antenna
- Antenna cable
- RCU
