Diagnostic Overview

The Adaptive Cruise Control Does Not Function In Rain Or Snow

Normal Operation and Fault Conditions

DTC Fault Trigger Conditions






Pinpoint Test

1. INSPECT THE FRONT BUMPER COVER FOR DAMAGE

1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. REFER to Lifting Points .

2. Inspect the front and back of the front bumper cover for damage.

Is the front bumper cover damaged?








2. INSPECT THE C-CM (Cruise-Control Module) AND FRONT BUMPER COVER FOR DEBRIS, MOISTURE, SNOW OR ICE

1. Inspect for debris, moisture, snow or ice on the front and back of the front bumper cover and sensor.

Is the C-CM (Cruise-Control Module) obstructed or blocked?








3. INSPECT THE C-CM (Cruise-Control Module) BRACKET FOR CORRECT MOUNTING

1. Inspect the C-CM (Cruise-Control Module) for loose mounting or damage at the 3 mounting points.

Is the C-CM (Cruise-Control Module) bracket loose or damaged?








4. CARRY OUT THE VERTICAL AND HORIZONTAL ALIGNMENT

1. NOTE: Remove the front bumper cover to carry out the vertical alignment procedure.
Carry out the alignment procedures for the C-CM (Cruise-Control Module). REFER to Cruise Control Module (C-CM) (with Sensor) Adjustment

Is the concern still present?
