DT7 Obtain Diagnostic Trouble Code

DT7 RETRIEVE DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC)

- Connect the New Generation STAR Tester.

- Retrieve DTCs.

Is the DTC the same as before and the entire pinpoint test for the DTC completed?

> Yes
Diagnose the intermittent fault.

> No
If the pinpoint test is not complete, return to the test step last completed in the pinpoint test.

If DTC retrieved is not the same, go to the pinpoint test for the DTC retrieved. Diagnostic Trouble Code Descriptions

If the module does not respond, go to the System Pre-Check. Inspection and Verification (Start Testing Here)
