Pump Motor Not Running
When Monitored:
During 7 mph drive off test or at the end of an ABS stop.
Set Condition:
The Controller Antilock Brakes CAB monitors the pump relay output at cavity 34. It expects the voltage to decrease at a predetermined rate when the relay is turned off. If the pump monitor voltage decreases too quickly when the pump is turned off, the trouble code is set.
Possible Causes:
^ Loose connections in the pump relay output circuit between the splice and pump
^ Open pump relay output circuit from the splice to the pump/motor
^ Failed pump motor
^ Open pump motor ground circuit

You have just attempted to simulate the condition that initially set the trouble code message. The following additional checks may assist you in identifying a possible intermittent problem:
^ Visually inspect related wire harness connectors. Look for broken, bent, pushed out, or corroded terminals.
^ Visually inspect the related harnesses. Look for chafed, pierced, or partially broken wire.
^ Refer to any hotlines or technical service bulletins that may apply.
NOTE: When disconnecting or connecting connectors, always check for terminal damage, pushed out pins or miswired.
